Wedding and family photographer based in Nagoya, Japan.

Welcome! I’m Julian, a professional photographer specializing in family, engagement, elopement and wedding photography.

After over a decade of working as a full time photographer in Asia and Europe. I have gained the experience of photographing weddings in Christian churches, Shinto shrines, Buddhist temples, hotels and outdoor venues. I have had the privilege of photographing families of diverse ethnic backgrounds and cultures. I have learned how to shape and arrange traditional Japanese kimono for official wedding portraits, as well as free-styling western wedding dresses for spontaneous photo opportunities.

I just love capturing those special times, and even more, those special moments in-between.

the Photographer

After living and working in Poland, UK and Australia I had found my place on Earth here in Japan.

I was extremely lucky to be able to built a business around my passion for photography. It allowed me to work with, and to become friends with people from all around the world.

What more could I have asked for!

Now, I divide my time between Japan, where I live with my wife, kids and a crazy dog; and my home country of Poland where I visit whenever I can.

When you are in need of a friendly, English speaking photographer, who offers joyful, stress free experience, do not hesitate to contact me!

I would love to hear about you and your story!

Here are a few of the lovely things my couples have had to say about my photo services.

It was my pleasure and honor to photograph them and their families.

Shingo & THUY-MY

Julian did our surprise proposal and engagement photoshoot. We are very pleased with the photos taken. Service is outstanding 10/10 and the photographer is very professional. I would completely recommend him to anyone who wants to capture their life’s milestones or capture their travel in Japan.

Julian and Massaki are very nice and dedicated. We took the photos in kimono 2 years ago. They met us at the shop to make sure we can understand the kimono shop staff as we don’t speak much Japanese. We used them again last year in Tokyo and they travelled to meet us from Nagoya. As usual they were early to check up nice spots while we first had our lunch. Oh and the photos were nice!

My husband and I hired Julian to take our pre-wedding and our wedding photos. He was knowledgeable and friendly and all my questions were answered promptly. Most importantly, the photographs were beautiful! We loved them so much I recommended their services to my work. Very highly recommended for any special occasion.

I employed Julian for a family shoot at a public park. The photos were fantastic! We used some them for our family holiday cards this year. One of the photos hangs on the wall in our living room and serves as our family portrait. The photographer was friendly and professional. We enjoyed the photo shoot. I would highly recommend him!

Julian took our wedding photos at our church and pre-wedding photos at the Tsuruma Park in Nagoya. We are extremely satisfied with his professionalism and quality of the photos!
